Saturday Night showing.. compared to a packed house
for the movie Unbroken that was also a great movie..
AT an afternoon matinee a few weeks ago…
The difference is the sacrifice of someone
who will never be rewarded or publicly acknowledged
alive for what HE did to help save 14 million lives
during World War II.. ending instead in prosecution
for homosexual acts in Great Britain..
and chemical castration to TREAT THE
homosexuality…. and finally suicide to escape
a life of isolation.. is the treat awarded by society
in Great Britain FOR this true hero of humankind…
In my OPINION IT SHOULD BE mandatory
REQUIRED WATCHING FOR EVERY SUNDAY SCHOOL..
AND SCHOOL.. IN GENERAL.. IN THE ENTIRE U.S…
TO SHOW JUST HOW HYPOCRITICAL IT IS

To me, at least, it is fascinating to watch some of the usual Anti-GOD folks here avoid the science of this when it comes to a topic that has personal emotional implications.
Good POTENTIAL lesson here, as to why there is so much disagreement among theists and atheists.
Emotions rule science (systemizing mind) and always will as that is human nature, no matter how scientific (systemizing) a person THINKS they are. Of course, unless there is serious brain damage as some studies show folks with this issue of brain damage cannot make decisions as simple as what color socks to wear when presented with more than one choice in the morning.
Emotions are VITAL TO THE COGNITIVE FUNCTIONING OF THE BRAIN; no ifs and or BUTS about that.
Anyway, my point here is, there is nothing WRONG WITH protecting one’s emotional health, even if it means avoiding the SCIENCE AT HAND.

And Human Freedom of choice TO EXPLORE FULLEST human nature in enjoying life, including sexual related preferences, as long as they are consensual, legal, and harm no one, is WHAT A FREE COUNTRY IS ALL ABOUT, WHETHER folks want children or not.
PEOPLE who do not want children HAVING CHILDREN can LEAD TO Emotionally dead children, MENTAL DISORDERS, addiction, criminality, and many types of other disorders across the lifespan.
LOVING NURTURING PARENTS WHO WANT CHILDREN IS A NECESSITY of a healthy society.
Science now MOST DEFINITELY shows that children who are not nurtured properly in the first two years of life, FACE A LIFE OF POTENTIAL MISERY, AS WELL as the folks they come in contact with.
And A LACK OF NURTURING in the first two years of LIFE, IS A FACTOR per some forms of Autism, as science also now does show, however politically incorrect it may be to FACE THAT BIOLOGICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL FACT with emotions sweeping facts UNDER THE CARPET, OR in the CLOSET.

The problem with living a life in mechanical cognition and books is ONE CAN FAIL TO REALIZE THAT HUMAN BEHAVIOR never ever works in black and white terms.
I have experience with literally over 100,000 real flesh and blood human beings in extended longitudinal interactions over decades with thousands, so I have a good idea what is REALLY GOING ON WITH HUMAN BEINGS, AND IT IS NEVER EVER BLACK AND WHITE BEHAVIOR.
SO YES OR NO, WHEN IT COMES TO HUMANS BEINGS, ARE TWO WORDS THAT TRULY DO NOT EXIST IN LIVING COLOR FLESH AND BLOOD HUMAN BEING.

Just a note of clarification, CI aka Nathan Young, hasn’t posted here in over three years.
And if you read the full thread you may be able to see that CI Intended the TITLE in a satirical way as He did NOT AGREE with the sentiment, then, of folks who DID REFER TO A CONSPIRACY THEORY OF AUTISM Speaks doing Eugenics with Autistic Folks, through prenatal testing.
He did NOT LIKE AUTISM ADVOCACY the way it is described in this particular forum, or most any other online autism community, as he was severely disabled and institutionalized as well.
His perspective was much different than most folks who post online with a reference to a label named Autism.
And, as is the case for many folks who have the REAL CASE STUDIED type of Hans Asperger described Asperger’s Syndrome better reflected in the Gillberg criteria, as compared to U.S. DSMIV criteria that basically just took a few of the ‘Autism Heavy’ characteristics out of that previous diagnosis to make it ‘Autism Lite’, AND then added in a language delay exclusion to exclude folks from the Asperger’s diagnosis that IS allowed in the Gillberg Criteria AND IS reflected in Hans Asperger’s case studies, YES, some folks who REALLY HAVE THE Hans Asperger’s case studied TYPE OF ASPERGER’S SYNDROME are relative genius with metaphors, and that was what set CI apart from other folks here, generally speaking, who were black and white literal thinkers.

I am waiting for my exams to be over and then to watch the movie. Of course I waste plenty of time and I can manage to watch it. But still I would like to watch it guiltlessly. Lol
Plus I like that couch where Katrina is all snugged up. Makes me want to have one too. š
It was definitely my favorite movie of the year. I know you will enjoy it.
And yes, Katrina enjoys that place that is actually a big chair, with her peace blanket most of the day with cats in lap, and T.V., while she gets breaks from taking care of her big job that is me. š
