I love the idea of poetry as spiral rather than linear as it goes deeper and deeper like a nautilus. And definitely God has to have a sense of humor given your birth date.Some of your photos made me a bit dizzy, but other made me hungry and it’s time for lunch. I will grab a bit when I caught up with the poems posted so far!
Thank you Victoria..and the greatest thing about poetry..to me..is it can never be perfected as long as there is no instruction for it..for me it flows as the golden spiral..
and interesting..when paragraph word shapes flow as a tidal wave..the evidence shows that this golden mean of all of nature is evident in human language to as an elegant design of mathematical curve..in the core of our human being2!as poetry..alive in us..to express to others as Universal flow of being!
But anyway..if you saw me do my circus act like dancing at Ole Seville that might make you faint..so i guess it’s just as well…that i did not get those girls that are dancing with me..to video tape me yet..to share here..

Hi Gay..there was a time when i could not see or feel the nuance of beauty in all things that surround..me..and that now lasted around 7 years..but truly that perspective from then..make every now a TRULY BEAUTIFUL ONE TO ME!AND everyone around me 2!including all the inanimate beauty of life2!now…..

To curve the words is really a great image of what poetry should be.
Yes..i think so and interesting to me..as a one language thinker and speaker..how beautiful Arabic poetry must be..if the curves of the language and art form of it may be any indicator of that..as the English Language is certainly angled and much more restrictive at core of structure..that often does reflect the essence of the heart of the culture(s)..owning the language…
Oh.. and i’m guessing your were on vacation..since i did not see any links from you recently in the 3 year ball celebration last week..and if so..hope you had a great vacation and are refreshed for life anew!

Hi Grace.. i do believe this to be true..as dance and song..i want to lose my strict cognition of mind..when i go to flow to write now..
Microsoft Word editor does not exist for me…anymore as i refuse to use it..!now..that i am freely expressing my heart at core…
And often spelling or grammar errors..are fortuitous for a twist and turn of meaning…
That takes me in to another UNIverse..quickly at the turn of the word…in a quick left or right..term…:)!
You nail it with: ‘poetry is curved’ and excited me with that – I’m rushing of to write down ‘curved’ and will play with that next week…

Okay, wow. I admit I started off not liking this. The caps, the exclamation points… then I read on. And on. And the length was awesome. This piece is a spiderweb; so many different vertices all branching out, but all connected together, all celebrating nature and human life and form and beauty. And the golden ratio, of course. I love this. I really do. I could read it another ten times and find more and different and deeper connections every time. Brilliantly done.

Thanks..Mike i do appreciate the time and effort you take here to..appreciate the complexity of what i do..that does come naturally to me now..without much effort in thought..but is the byproduct of much physical pain..and the only escape from it..living in words on a computer screen i could not clearly see..for around three years..from break of wake..to sleep again..when sleep comes if comes at all..it’s like “Breaking Bad’..with no meth..if ya will..;)only words….
AND..
It’s comments like this..
that make that pain worth the words..

that do come so freely for me now..

You always remind me of the Zorba quote; “We all need a little madness, for without it we are afraid to cut the rope & be free.” You simply overwhelm us, suck all the air out of a room, and as a Dynamo of a poet & person, you become like that red dwarf star; so very unique. yes, nothing is linear, for the gravity of spirals, or curves, of circles captures the line sooner or later; universes within universes ad infinitum.
Well..Glenn thank you for that stellar compliment..and yes i do definitely take it as a mission accomplished..as i spent most of my life as a robot doing his best to conform..to the other robots..in life..or be expelled from my place in the real robot work of government employment..and with that..eventually came anxiety to the point of PTSD..panic attacks with hospital trips and all of that…
And of course 19 medically documented disorders..that ALL MAGICKALLY SEEM TO BE OVER COME..by me by what doctors call a real life miracle..as there was no hope i could ever recover by the professionals who attended to me then..in that 7 year stretch of total human hell…
Somewhere along the line..i lost all my emotions..and fear was the last to go..
In rebuilding all of them…
the one i leave out is illusory fears…
Not many folks get to start over like that. i think…
but my promise to myself is to live every moment in now as now is ALL THERE IS….
AND WITHOUT THE PAIN OF 7 YEARS…
IN REAL LIFE..
i do suck all the air out of the room..IN REAL FLESH AND BLOOD LIFE..simply by the presence of my overwhelming positive energy.. like the rich man who wanted that drop of water..in hell…
who gets his fill everyday of every now now…
But..unfortunately my wife has enough headaches with my energy when i do come up for non-written text air..i can’t talk when i’m typing very well…
And yes..this computer may be the only thing separating..heR..from insanity…
living with a red dwarf star..:)
