Of course, there are almost an unlimited number of causal related factors that lead to the deficits currently behaviorally described in the DSM5 in the U.S. as Autism.
It is clear that at least some folks on the spectrum are highly tuned to sensory and emotional contagion/affective empathy to the point they have difficulty separating their senses and feeling of ‘self’ from other folks, particularly when environmental sensory stimulus is great as well as higher population densities and highly charged emotions among groups of people.
From an anecdotal perspective rarely are folks who talk in ‘robot’ language, devoid of human emotions, spiritually oriented folks by their own words.
And yes, one can empirically measure written language with less emotion from the words that are used, one by one.
It’s what I personally refer to in metaphor as dead written language opposed to more organic language.
As a technical writer, per one of many hats in government work, I was required to write like this, and at that time it was the only way I was comfortable in writing, although I as an ’empath’ leaning individual had no difficulty IN connecting to people and nature, overall, sensory speaking and emotionally speaking, strongly, and yes, at times, it was overwhelming to me.
I’ve always had a deep connection to a much greater force than the more literal thinking folks I grew up with, even in fundamentalist churches, as well as nature in general, and other people unconditionally too.
I could never follow suit with folks who made fun of Black Americans, Homosexuals, or people with Disabilities, as I for one FELT no higher or lower than a grain of sand.
And yes, now that this PPR forum is not so oppressive to anyone who believes in GOD or religion, in general, per greater neutral moderation, now, these non-censored voices are being heard louder, overall in this forum, and that is great as DISCUSSION ABOUT philosophy, religion, and even politics should be as uncensored and open to all avenues of thought as possible for it to be truly effective as an avenue FOR POTENTIAL NEW LEARNING AND INSIGHTS.
The greatest thing about being an outcast, no matter if a person is raised as a Jew, a black person (particularly in the past and obviously still in some CASES), a homosexual, an androgynous individual, AND the list goes on for human differences IS one has a better opportunity to escape the illusions of culture and look within and observe the truth in nature to have a better understanding AND HUMAN SENSORY AND EMOTIONAL EXPERIENCE OF EXISTENTIAL INTELLIGENCE PER THEIR PLACE AS A WORKING PART OF MOTHER NATURE TRUE aka GoD.
Religion, overall, per history and current days is more integral to the day-to-day life of some folks than others who only think about it AND PRACTICE IT on Sunday. And Jewish folks are more traditional like Muslims in practicing religion more days of the Year, so it stands to reason one might see more of a connection of Autism and the Jewish culture, specifically religion, in general, per the more fundamentalists Jewish folks, as it is just more of a MAIN FOCUS of life for Jewish folks, overall, it seems to me.
The stereotype of Autism is the quiet person that rarely talks to anyone, but that is only stereotype as there are folks who are Autistic who are very gregarious, even SO gregarious THAT they CAN GET ON PEOPLE’S NERVES. š
AUTISM is so complex a disorder with so many potential causal and symptomatic variables for human differences that truly when they say one meets one Autistic person, one has only met one AUTISTIC PERSON, stands as truth.
Anyway, I’m glad that this is a forum now, where open minds can reside and discuss A MUCH BROADER VIEW OF PHILOSOPHY, religion, and politics.

As science shows there are STILL small peaceful HUMAN societies, numbering close to 20 in the world today that both live in balance with nature and one another in a similar sharing matriarchal leaning way of balanced culture LIVING WAYS that many Anthropologists suggest our forager ancestors DID before the Agrarian ways of human being started IN more of a sedentary and collective way of life.
Nah, humans are not A virus, it is HUMAN cultures that CAN BE A virus.
Humans are simply not evolved to live as many live now, in high density populations, as science suggests that humans are only currently evolved to connect to around 150 to 200 sets of eyes give or take a few 100 perhaps, depending on environmental adaptation.
The result of that IS A VIRUS OF CULTURE PER ENVIRONMENT but innate human nature per MOTHER NATURE TRUE aka GOD as of NOW, no, NOT AT ALL.
A common origin of misanthropic views is the illusion that culture is real and human nature is not.
To go against human nature and or MOTHER NATURE is to pay consequences in empirically measured results.
Just to list a few, some of those CONSEQUENCES NOW, empirically measurable as such by science, are close to one third of school age children who are assessed as pre-type two diabetic, close to 50 percent of the population on some kind of pain killer in a chronic way, AND PRESCRIPTIONS of Anti-Depressants sky rocketing among adults and children.
For one thing humans are evolved to move almost constantly as foragers in the wild, continuously scanning the horizon for prey AND PREDATOR and other things to eat.
Meanwhile ‘really smart’ humans today, sit still behind computers and other potential SCREEN ADDICTIONS DAY BY DAY, WITH THEIR skin rarely even ‘seeing’ the life giving SUN that our ancestors constantly lived under for neuro-chemical AND NEURO-HORMONE derived HAPPY nourishment.
Children in China who increasingly spend their time FIXATED IN front of a computer SCREEN for school ways of learning have been assessed at up to 90% near-sighted, as use it or lose it does apply, and not scanning the horizon means losing far sightedness IS real and true, as science now shows, as well.
AND NOW more and more humans are not CONNECTING TO EACH OTHER in evolved ways of flesh and blood interaction to nourish the natural reward of social bonding oxytocin.
It has gotten to the point in Japan where a majority of young folks assessed by science no longer even desire to hook up in the flesh and blood ‘biblical’ way of getting together and making babies.
And the clean up crews come and clean up what’s left of elders in Japanese APARTMENTS in that booming new business opportunity as elders often have no flesh and blood contacts left.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Well, at this point you might ask what the hell does have to do with your question, and I suggest plenty as in discussions of philosophy on this forum the English language is sorely deficient in nuances of both GOD and what our peers describe as love over in the westernized greater materialistic ways of life.
The language of Urdu is highly nuanced in ‘matters’ of GOD and LOVE when two become the same.
I see GOD as ALL GOOD ALL THE TIME.
BUT ON THE other hand I see neither bad or good, I just see GOD everywhere I ‘look’.
Mother Nature True is a politically correct way of describing GOD that many western folks could probably agree with both religious and anti-religious so I use that in a diplomatic way.
However, HELL NO, the phrase Mother Nature True or ALL THAT IS doesn’t nearly describe ALL THE NUANCE, I FOR ONE, ‘KNOW’ OF GOD that goes far beyond what the English can say in words no matter how I manipulate it here and tHere and I doubt any language will EVER BE DEVELOPED to FULLY express what even I know non-verbally of what is GOD to me and I am sure tHere are Universes of knowing GOD that others experience that GO far beyond my conception of GOD in all the ways I know GOD as is.
So to get back to the point of your question, I see viruses including the virus of culture as neither good or bad and fully part of the GOOD THAT IS GOD.
AND by the way good to me is the balance of all that is.
The dark and light of all it is works to make is as is and that is enough for me to be content as is NOW.
Clothes are environmental tools that can provide protection from the elements and they are certainly part of GOD in this way.
Clothes are environmental tools that shield one from the life giving nourishment of the SUN and in this way they are certainly part of GOD too, although a much more potentially limiting experience of GOD as is.
I love the light and the dark and do not assume I know the ‘mind’ of GOD.

I love science but I do not worship IT and I see it as HIGHLY FALLIBLE in the grander scheme of humans beings in what it affects and effects in human lives.
For instance science creates great machines that are supposed to make life easier like computers that are capable of multitasking but the other arms of science that better understand human nature understand that humans are not innately designed to multi-task and computers, in general, allow culture and the work place to impose an unnatural ‘rule’ upon human beings as multi-tasker which innately they are NOT.
AND since scientists tend to SPECIALIZE IN THEIR FIELDS (reference the multitasking thingy) there is often inefficient communication to GET IT ALL TOGETHER TO MAKE HUMAN LIFE BETTER, REALLY BETTER.
Additionally, the science of modern medicine as is already widely KNOWN IS overall making the human species more vulnerable to more powerful forms of disease through the impact of antibiotics for one commonly known tool of medicine that kills disease and makes it stronger, as disease is more challenged and humans are LESS challenged in adapting to their environment in this ANTI-BIOTIC TYPE OF WAY.
AND FINALLY AT THE HEIGHT OF HUMAN IGNORANCE AND failure to understand what it innately even means to be human beings, at THE core level of living, humans are relegated to sitting still for hours upon hours at school or work in a life of MOSTLY input and smaller output devoid of the most basic needs of humans to move and connect to other human beings in flesh and blood ways.
Science has no heart or soul to ‘SPEAK OF’ and that is where science is only a tool and NEVER EVER SOMETHING TO WORSHIP AS TRUTH.
BUT TRULY as people follow blindly like sheep accepting the byproducts of science as holy truth of being, they march slowly to human distress, misery, and an earlier death, as they never even learn the most basic concepts of what it even means to use their mind and body in balance to have A FRIGGING GREAT LIFE.
IN MANY ways, old so-called sacred text that is 3500 years old or OLDER still has better answers for living than science alone has, NOW.
This is why religion in some form WILL NEVER DIE, AND SCIENCE WILL CONTINUE TO CHANGE and POTENTIaLLY eventually catch up with the real VITAL HUMAN NATURE UNIVERSAL TRUTHS AS WE ARE EVOLVED TO SIMPLY BE.
AND THEN PERHAPS science too, will GROW A HEART AND SOUL.
But I for one dam sure AM NOT going to wait or DEPEND ON THAT (for living a great human life) PER SCIENCE ALONE, AS that IN my opinion is the height of human ignorance, as is, today.

But yeah, science is starting to get a grasp, as science now shows that just listening to electronic rave dance music CAN raise levels of Human Growth Hormone per growing all types of human body parts like skin, bones, ligaments, and brain neurons.
And yes, I have the evidence for that in irrefutable style both in the form of my body, and in physical empirical measured effort, as just after 9 months of WEEKLY rave dancing the physical strength of my legs went from lifting around 500LBS to now 830LBS, with NO other training aspect changed.
Just once a week for around 3 to 4 hours is all it took and Now I have documented evidence of the ‘fountain of youth’.
But haha! it will not likely work if one drinks alcohol while one does it.

Don’t be discouraged if one can. There are different kinds of Autistic leaning folks.
There are folks like Einstein who use imagination of deeper thinking to make ‘quantum’ LEAPS in physics.
And there are folks like Steve Jobs who do not listen to the formalities of culture and get the JOB DONE.
THESE are the FOLKS WHO CHANGE THE WORLD, TO paraphrase Steve Jobs.
I understand your insights, whether I agree with them or not, as I am simply one of THOSE ‘TYPE’ OF AUTISTIC LEANING FOLKS.
STEVE JOBS, as portrayed in the biography of his life, in the movie JOBS, was disgusted by Bill Gates (autistic leaning nature) as he had no imagination or ART in what he did.
And this shows, OH GOD, it still shows as his (BILL) product works but it still works like science, and yes extremely FALLIBLE SCIENCE, rather than a platform of art that truly MORE FULLY supports creative and imaginative minds that more fully CHANGE THE WORLD.
I CHOOSE NOT TO STAY STILL; I for ONE CHOOSE TO MOVE.
AND WITH THAT COMES MISTAKES AND FAILURES AND HYPOTHESES ABOUT LIFE THAT CHANGE much through the course of a lifetime but the bottom line is SITTING STILL AS BOTH METAPHOR AND LITERAL PHRASE is like a river that does not move and dries up to dirt.
SOME literalists of the world literally believe humans are dust and nothing more.
I for one, see the potential of humans as something higher like the metaphor of MAGICK.

So yeah, there certainly are multi-verses and I for one refuse to just copy someone else’s Universe alone.

Steve Jobs understood that but Bill Gates could obviously, to both me and Steve, NEVER GET IT, for whatever environmental or innate reason.
I suspect the difference was Steve Jobs practice of ZEN as it allowed him to center his self and expand his mind in ways of reason and creative art, per FULLER human balance AND HUMAN ENERGY IN WHAT SOME FOLKS DESCRIBE AS QI, CHI, and KI.
And in doing so he WAS A MOVER AND SHAKER that made A DIFFERENCE in ACTION AND NOT JUST TALK. š
Throughout history these kind of folks have been ridiculed for being different by the sheep of life; however, in the end they are the ones, THE KIND, THAT OFTEN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. š
AND FOR ANYONE who thinks that emotions are stupid, they are not even ‘good’ pragmatists as the word itself means to MOTIVATE ACTION.
TO oppress, repress, or subjugate emotions through illusory fears is the way of the EXTREMIST Fundamentalist Christian and Atheist, in generality alike.
To understand emotions FULLY EXPRESSED IN ALL THE NUANCES THAT CAN BE EMOTIONS, AND THE TRUE POWER THAT BRINGS TO HUMAN BEINGS IS TO UNDERSTAND WHAT HUMAN EVEN IS.
POETRY, so far, does a much better job of that than science obviously for those who are in that WELL EXPLORED CONTINENT OR METAPHORICAL hemisphere of mind.
And thank GOD cutting edge science is FINALLY CATCHING UP TO THAT TRUTH OF ALL SOCIAL ANIMALS AS THAT is simply how THE HEALTHY ONES ARE EVOLVED TO BE for basic frigging survival in the WILD.
Without FULLY ENGAGED EMOTIONS even executive functioning will not work correctly as emotions are what cement our memories in navigating the environment we live in.
Ha! HA! Cognitive science per the past has discounted what human reality even is, but even cognitive science is now finally catching up to so called woo ways of Eastern Philosophies as the BODY in balanced movement per THE GREATEST AND MOST IMPORTANT INTELLIGENCE OF ALL, PHYSICAL INTELLIGENCE, DRIVES BOTH Emotional Regulation and Sensory Integration in WHAT TRULY FUELS THE FIRE OF LIFE AKA KI, CHI, QI, AND THE KUNDALINI METAPHOR AS SERPENT.

There was a time when I too thought that poetry does not have a practical end, but truly I did understand what practicality even was then, as my experience of life was a highly restricted one in ways of mechanical cognition only thinking.
Science now shows that there are two pathways of the brain.
One pathway is that of mechanical cognition and solving mechanical problems which is one and almost the same as science.
One pathway is that of social cognition and human empathy/emotions which is one and almost the same as the human expression of ART.
So a math equation is science and mechanical cognition; and a poem is art and social cognition.
The problem with science is it has a very limited capacity to measure either Quantum Physics or human ART.
Science now IS JUST beginning to suggest that physical intelligence through THE ART, NOT SCIENCE, OF MOVEMENT aka Physical Intelligence IS WHAT DRIVES Human Emotional Regulation and Sensory Integration.
Eastern Philosophies have understood and practiced this HUMAN TRUTH FOR LITERALLY THOUSANDS OF YEARS, WITH REAL LIFE results that no one who practices these arts of human movement denies who benefits from them.
Poetry connects human language with emotion and fires human action, as scientists understand now that emotions are the core of what drives most all human rational decisions.
The word emotion means to motivate physical action for good reason.
And the FACT NOW, that the ART of physical movement aka Physical Intelligence drives both emotional regulation and sensory integration IS perhaps the greatest fact that science has ever come to finally know as HUMAN TRUTH, as the folks who denied the importance of it in their ivory towers may one day become more fully human too, if they get to read the research. š
And not only that science shows that emotions are the glue of human memory, so with the repression, oppression, or subjugation of emotions through illusory fears also comes deficits in human executive functioning, and with that in combination of the loss of emotional regulation and sensory integration it’s no wonder fundamentalist literalists in all ways of life from religion to school to parents, told children to sit still so they COULD BE CONTROLLED.
TO TAKE away physical intelligence or poetry from FULLER HUMAN BEINGS IS TO LITERALLY KILL PART OF THEIR BRAIN AND LIFE, AS SCIENCE NOW SHOWS, PER THE social cognition pathway of the brain.
And the fact IS STRESS KILLS, AS SCIENCE SHOWS NOW TOO, AND an overall ‘best’ AFFECTIVE/EFFECTIVE way to increase stress is to repress, oppress, and or subjugate human emotions through illusory fears.
And it’s what manipulators for greed have done throughout history whether behind the pulpit, school, or parenting.
To not understand THAT POETRY RESULTS IN MOVING HUMANS TO ACTION, IS to neither understand the importance of human emotion or poetry, in affect and effect, in my opinion.
But No, I too, was once almost totally in the dark about this, but am TRULY ENLIGHTENED NOW IN WAYS OF ART AND SCIENCE, AND TRULY THE ART OF PHYSICAL INTELLIGENCE AND POETRY IS SCIENCE TOO, to me at least, AS I can provide the evidence in terms of flesh and blood of the difference it makes in fuller human being.
Those ARE RESULTS THAT REALLY COUNT in human being, in my opinion.
Most of the other ‘stuff’ is basically ‘clothes’, in my opinion, TG NOW. š

Faith is not A requirement to believe that Jesus is the only Son of GOD OR WAS RESURRECTED FROM THE DEAD, AS fundamentalist modern so-called Christians STILL, NOW, AND FOR MANY CENTURIES MANIPULATE FOLKS in the ‘herd of sheep’ TO BELIEVE FOR SELFISH PSYCHOPATHIC LEANING GREED.

This is a support site for Autism, which means that reciprocal social communication will not always be clear and or concise but, never the less, Tomato’s general BIG PICTURE INSIGHTS are discernible enough to me, as I’ve been there and done the hard stuff.
There are lots of folks here who have really good grammar, spelling, and concise and coherent language with very little deeper insight about life, and yes, that’s just a generalization that I have anecdotally noticed.
I am 54, have three college degrees, graduating at close to the top of the class through all of my academic career; a quarter of a Century wearing many hats in government service retiring at the NF4 level, which is equivalent to the GS9 to 11 pay grade. During my employment I directly interacted with tens of thousands of people during those over two decades in government service, as it was in public service for the military.
I’ve been married for close to 25 years, own a home, and am financially independent.
I have suffered through the worst pain known to mankind, per medical literature, described as type two trigeminal neuralgia, for over five solid years, during all waking hours as an almost complete shut-in.
At the beginning of that pain, I went for 40 days with only 1 hour of sleep each night with only the aid of a powerful alpha blocker, and none for the last 5 days out of that 40. The current NOTED world record for not sleeping at all is 264 hours or 11 days straight.
The one hour of sleep each night for the first 35 nights, provided by the Alpha-blocker did not refresh anything for me.
Additionally, I was diagnosed with a total of 19 medical disorders and given no chance of recovery by a doctor who was treating me.
A few more of the more challenging disorders were Sjogren’s Syndrome, where my eyes quit making tears; Dysautonomia, where my blood pressure and heart rate would no longer synch together through neurological autonomic control, so I almost passed out just attempting to walk around my neighborhood block or after eating a meal; and fibromyalgia which is constant pain throughout one’s entire body.
There was no pain killer that would do anything for the type two Trigeminal Neuralgia, which was like having a dentist drill a person’s teeth without Novocain, except for in my case, it was in my right eye and ear making effective use of those sensory organs close to useless for five years.
The Autism diagnosis in middle age was no big deal at all compared to the rest of everything else EXCEPT for the fact that at the end of my career I was doing duties as financial manager for an entire department at a Navy Military Installation, Personnel, Payroll, General Accounting, Information Technology Support, Athletic director of that Military Installation supervising anywhere from 31 to 130 employees, and going toe to toe with a Captain of a Military Installation, filling in for the department head when necessary, AND ETC., ETC. ETC.; SO YES, the social stress did TEND to finally catch up with my abilities in that area of life, per the AUTISM challenge, per THE CHRONIC KIND of stress THAT can and WILL KILL FOLKS, LEFT UNESCAPED, LIKE IT ALMOST DID to ME.
The doctors had nothing to cure me, so I searched within and found the WILL, FAITH, BELIEF AND HOPE IN ME THROUGH THE REAL SCIENTIFICALLY EVIDENCED HEALING POWER NOW OF THE EASTERN PHILOSOPHY WAYS OF HEALING BY INCREASING PHYSICAL INTELLIGENCE THROUGH practicing it and THEREBY regulating emotional intelligence and sensory integration to heal ONE’S OWN SELF through the real power of human HOPE, BELIEF, FAITH, AND WILL THAT ARE TRULY EMOTIONS AT CORE THAT MOTIVATE BOTH HUMAN ACTION AND HEALING.
SO YEAH, ALOT OF THAT HEALING stuff that Jesus was talking about in what is currently reported in the New Testament, no matter who really wrote it, IS TRUTH, and while science now shows it works, science still hasn’t come up with an INSTRUCTION MANUAL THAT WORKS consistently FOR FOLKS TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.
SACRED TEXT LIKE THE TEXT BELOW THAT IS LIKELY CLOSE TO TWO THOUSAND YEARS OLD, IS TRULY ABOUT AS GOOD AS IT GETS TO TRY TO EXPLAIN IT TO ANYONE, with eyes that truly see beyond black and white life.

And, also at 232LBS now, and around 6 Feet tall, I do a PRACTICE of Nude Renaissance flesh and blood male art, in legal restricted blog way, approaching 10 thousands views, and several million words on other blogs, with close to one million views now on my clearinghouse site of art, per my Google Plus web page.

If you don’t want to tell and show like I do, I totally understand, as I used to be shy too, before I WENT TO REAL HUMAN HELL. HEAVEN IS MUCH EASIER no matter what one HAS TO DO.
My life is a miracle; just the fact that I am here at all, as there is NO RECORD OF ANYONE EVEN surviving what I survived per sleep deprivation and living, to just name one little hurdle of mine and MIND, relatively speaking, and truly my life IS PROOF THAT THIS THINGY THAT FOLKS HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS PER A HIGHER POWER IS REAL AND TRUTH, PER THE DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE THAT IS MY flesh and blood life.
YEAH, THE COOLEST THING OF ALL IS I DOCUMENTED THE WHOLE THING DOWN TO THE NITTY GRITTY AND CAN PROVE IT WITH NO DOUBT, EVEN to the NayEST of naysayers in life, with ‘eyes’ to see.
And nah, I AM NOT special, I just have the TRUE POWER OF WILL, FAITH, BELIEF AND HOPE ON MY SIDE, and in relative FREE WILL MASTERY, WHICH REQUIRES ABSOLUTELY NO RELIGION OR FAIRY TALES TO MAKE COME TRUE.
