Float

like a Butterfly

Sting like me..

Muhammad Ali..

honoring himself

as the greatest

but not the smartest..

graduating at 376 out of a class of 391..

and ending up with a honorary doctorate degree in Humanities

from Princeton University in the year 2007…

So yes.. while Muhammad did not excel at standard IQ measures

his physical and emotional intelligence..

that yes.. are always tied together in all human beings..

IS simply phenomenal

from the ability to do psych-ops outside of the ring..

to out-wit the contender in trash talk..

to great humanitarian efforts..

as well as standing up for what he believes

no matter what anyone else chided in

as against the social norm..

as a conscientious objector

to the Vietnam War stating

that he had no war with

the Vietcong as the

at the time the

WHITE MAN

WAS HIS OPPRESSOR..

Yes.. Muhammad Ali per my last post..

is a Super Rover for all ages..

in the fight for his life.. and FREEDOM

that he won CONVINCINGLY IN THE SPORT OF BOXING..

AS THE GREATEST BOXER PER ASSOCIATED PRESS VOTES..

FOR THE 20TH CENTURY….

AND for people who decry the simplicity

and negligible benefits of sports.. of all kinds..

and the value of standard intelligence

over emotional and physical intelligence..

they know not their own God Given instinctual human nature..

as all humans are evolved for physical and emotional intelligence

moreover than any other intelligence..

And to neglect those two intelligences is to neglect being human..

simple and true.. now certainly proven in my life..

as i have never been more confident..

or with more self esteem..

or more unconditionally sacred loving..

since i learned to dance the dance of sacred unconditional love..

in the graceful butterfly way.. and yes.. sting like the bee of survival if necessary..

Like Muhammad Ali…

And moreover SPORTS OF ALL KINDS

ARE GENUINE LIFESAVERS FOR THE HUMAN TRIBE..

AS IT FULFILLS THE HUMAN INSTINCT

FOR TRIBAL AFFILIATION AND THE FIGHT FOR THE TRIBE..

AS ‘VICARIOUSLY MIRROR NEURONING’

WITH PADS.. GLOVES… HELMETS..

AND OTHER PROTECTIVE GEAR

FOR A GAME OF TRIBAL FIGHT INSTEAD OF THE REAL THING..

THAT CAUSES MASSIVE LOSS OF LIFE…

THE CURE FOR WAR.. IS TRULY SPORTS..

AND THOSE WHO PARTICIPATE TO ENTERTAIN THE CROWD IN TRIBAL WAYS.. ARE TRULY LIFE SAVERS WHETHER THE HERD CAN SEE THIS OR NOT!

THEY DO EARN EVERY FRIGGING PENNY THEY MAKE.. IN MORE WAYS THAN MOST FOLKS IN THE TRIBE UNDERSTAND…

SPORTS HEROES ARE TRUE HEROES..

AND i for one respect them as such..

as they give their life to excel in sports..

and the benefit for the tribe can never be dismissed in vain….

AND YES..

while i was on the other end of Standard IQ Intelligence..

graduating 11 out of a class of 381..

at the top of the class at the college

presented in the photos when it was Junior College..

and then on to the University of West Florida..

with a triple major..

in

Social Sciences Interdisciplinary

Health Science

and

Anthropology to attempt to get some

book learning on physical and emotional intelligence..

REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE IS MY ONLY WAY TO GAIN

TRUE EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL INTELLIGENCES..

THAT TAKES OVER 30 YEARS OF REAL WORLD WORK..

AND TWO DECADES OF WORKING WITH TENS OF

THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE IN THE GENERAL

PUBLIC IN GOVERNMENT WORK..

AND THEN FAILING HEALTH

FOR FIVE LONG YEARS..

TO FINALLY

COME

BACK

TO THE CORE

OF WHO i am as human being..

at my University of Military Gym..

and Ole Seville Quarter Rave Dance Club in Pensacola FL…

Well, good to see Fnord back and so happy to hear a success story of a self-made person with the somewhat challenging disorder of a form of Autism Spectrum disorder.

And yes, there is another guy here who has reported a similar and perhaps even remarkable story of a self-made autistic person.

There was this guy, that had a language delay until age 4, and could not speak in oral presentation and write well until his 40’s and 50’s, but no he did not let that discourage him from success in life.

He also was a very frail child and picked on for looking strange and basically told he did not deserve to exist, but no he did not let that get him down and just worked harder to get stronger, and more normal looking, and there is even proof that he has formed himself out into a physical specimen of what looks very much like those statues of Greek GODs with obvious proof as he is also a nude self renaissance artist and a poet at age 54, per the photos thingy or it didn’t happen.

And this person’s family scenario, is the father with the money left early, to leave the mother with little money to raise the children, in relative poverty by the time there was any possibility of going to college, but the now young man did not let that get him down, so he got three jobs; yes at the same time, one as janitor, one as bookstore clerk, and one as research associate in archaeology to make ends meet running a more than full schedule per semester for college work eventually graduating with three degrees from college. No, there was little time for sleep.

But still without written or oral language skills, the job market was bleak, so he ended up working in a military bowling center at close to minimum wage but that did not get him down, as he just went one step at a time handing out shoes, and loved his job all the same.

Oh, and then there were the people that said he was too strange to ever get married but that did not get him down, he kept his head up, and ended up marrying what most people in his area, consider as one of the most beautiful girls in his area, at that time, and fairly running that way still now as she is age 44, by observance of the men folks in his local area. In fact, just today, a college professor noted that she looks too young to be married.

By 1999, after eating pork and beans and chicken quarters to save enough money for a down payment on a house and purchase of such, starting in 1993, the young man still only had $1000 dollars in the bank, which is not much wiggle room for emergency.

And so then after a child died in 1997 and fortunately there was enough insurance money to pay the 300K medical bill, the wife then comes down with epilepsy and can no longer work, but no that did not get him down or her down, they just cut back some more.

And by the time 2007 rolled around and after 7 years of threats on job security, and going higher up as government employed Community Activities Director and Athletic Director, the now 40 something year old dude, managed to save several hundred thousand dollars in yes, just 7 years for the rainy day that was soon to come in 2008, with 19 medically documented disorders including the worst pain known to mankind, type two trigeminal neuralgia, a stint with almost 40 days without sleep, except for one hour each of the first 35 days, and none the last 5 of 40, in a truly Dante like inferno of increasing rings of hell, each day.

Well, not able to use eyes or ears effectively for 2 years due to the pain like having one’s teeth drilled without Novocain, except it was in the eye and ear instead of teeth, he was locked in his mind, with no where to escape, and no effective drugs to help.

So he started writing just to escape some way, lists at first, and then more words and paragraphs and eventually millions of words, one excruciating word at a time with that incredible eye and ear pain. But one word was a step and he kept going for three years, until eventually he was miraculously healed of all of this pain and disorders, with only a miracle explanation by qualified professionals assessing his medical conditions.

So it was time to start again, and he decided to go in a new direction and yes, became a well known, and yes considered famous dancer in his metro area. In fact, measured at over 2500 miles now all around his metro area, in a dance walk style, by Nike GPS Sports watch, in a little over 14 months; and a poet with some international feedback; and a martial artist, considered as a Kung Fu expert, by training expert in the field.

And no he didn’t even need a lesson, to accomplish this, he did it all on his own, with the help of mother nature’s instinctual human nature ways, aka GOD.

So yes, I am self-made man per the lone wolf thingy, but nah, I did not build it alone without Mother Nature true aka GOD.

    So yeah, GOD made me.

And yeah, I’ve got documented proof of this, down to the 810 LBS I press with my legs now, in case anyone doubts that real human miracles and GOD exists.

But will I ever judge another person for needing help or taking it: Hell no, as I’ve been to real HUMAN hell, and know the dark part of life, all to well.

And if one lives long enough, chances are pretty good they WILL GET A TASTE OF REAL HUMAN HELL TOO.

Let’s just say it’s a valuable lesson in humility and human empathy for one that makes it through REAL HUMAN HELL, AND THE DISEASE I HAD IS CALLED THE SUICIDE DISEASE FOR GOOD REASON; YOU can bet the ranch on that. šŸ™‚

I have all the money I can possibly spend for one reason and one reason only: MONEY MEANS NOTHING TO ME, AND REAL FLESH AND BLOOD HUMAN CONNECTIONS IN REAL LIFE, SACRED UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, AND MY HEALTH MEANS EVERYTHING, AND THAT IS WHY I ENDED UP RELATIVELY RICH, PER THE HERD OF HUMAN BEINGS, WHETHER I WANTED TO OR NOT. šŸ™‚

NOTE: CAPS ADDED in for emphasis, I AM NOT screaming; in real FLESH AND BLOOD life I’m as calm as a butterfly like Yogi, inside. :), WITH YES, RELATIVE FREE WILL, the closest thing to self-made man that exists in the history of mankind, believe it or not, it’s true.

And to be clear: relative free will, not me.

  2. brian miller says:

it is an interesting thought that sports helps us curb that tribal instinct…had not thought about it that way…pretty sad though, the guys that box…cause it really messes them up—just look at ali…i know he excelled and all…and that is great…he was an inspiration to many…and not without controversy….but he was himself…that is for sure….and that is a victory

    • Yes.. truly some athletes give their health and or life for sports.. similar with musicians and any other life intensive creative effort for art whether it be the banging heads of football.. fist to head in boxing.. or sleepless drug inspired road trips of guitar playing rock and rollers.. it’s often a life or maiming or death effort.. unfortunately.. but i suppose that is the price many folks make to help the herd….through history through this point….and maybe in least some efforts that can change for the better in the future..:)

  3. Indeed.. we might need these global gladiators providing an outlet for us (not me though) .. at least it is obvious that many great athletes had a career choice between sports of criminality.. and for society’s maybe so.. I think that already bread and circuses was a big part of pax Romana… so yes today that would be soccer, boxing or your favorite sport…

    • Yes.. and while i focus on sports here.. i think complex cultures provide an almost endless variety of other surrogate activities for the human tribal instinct.. from politics to religion.. but as we know too.. those two often end in mass death too.. okay for the common soil.. but not so okay for international soils..

i tend to like dance now.. as most anyone can participate.. if positively inspired..:)

  4. Mary says:

Sports instead of war — the concept makes sense, but like a lot of things that make sense, it will never come to pass. Sigh.

    • Well.. although it’s not working too well on the international front.. at least not as some countries do not even field teams.. in the inner soils it works ‘quiet’ well.. in at least some areas for an alternative to real life conflict.. even in the micro areas of towns and cities.. to some degree..:)

But again.. as in the comment above.. it’s a much greater variety of surrogates for the potential of tribal conflict that does exist.. beyond sports.. even the dopamine activities of video games..etc… from computers and Internet access..as avenues for these alternatives..for tribal conflict.. and almost anything alternative to avoid the tribal conflicts in real life that can exist.. even between feuding neighbors..like a nice block cook-out as well..when a hurricane comes..

So yes.. even hurricanes and other natural disasters are sometimes glue for the larger variety of tribes in life..:)even on a global level at times.. for tribes that CARE..FOR OTHERS TOO..:)

  5. Glenn Buttkus says:

We all fight to curb blood lust, & are action junkies; you really nailed this concept; sports is an outlet, a form of catharsis; but the futurists, the science fiction writers had it proposed best, that once we remove the human athletes & insert robots, we will get the same thrills without sacrificing the most talented & fit among us. What is strange for me regarding Ali, is that he never seemed to get hit in the head much, and yet, and yet, look at him now; there is a deep sadness connected to his life & career.

    • Yes.. and i think in a way that has already come true.. with the huge modern interest in the warriors of video games.. particularly in South Korea.. where there are huge gatherings of stadium like crowds to watch push button warriors in this interesting vicarious way…

But as with most things there are silver linings and darker realities.. as video game addiction appears to be a real thing.. and perhaps even structurally changing the brains of young folks who are susceptible to the disease of addiction through behavioral addictions…

And then there is the empathy thing.. that may be even lost somewhat when the robot becomes the future warrior on the big real life field.. in the uncanny valley effect of something that looks so much like human beings but doesn’t quite match the neurological real life effect of mirror neurons in the brain processing real vs. fake human vicariously either on TV or on the field of sports…

It’s fascinating to me.. how the intricacy of the machine of brain and neurology can discern the environment of humans like this.. and even when a human is still.. so still like a mannequin.. the uncanny effect.. goes into play too.. as motionless standing humans are not something programmed per se.. in our DNA.. hehe.. i made another science rhyme..after all it’s all connected.. with time..and smiles and have a great day Glenn.. if ya happen to come back this way..:)

Yes.. and it is heart breaking to see any great stallion or mermaid of sports.. fall to something that takes freedom away from folks who truly are so free in life.. both in body and spirit.. and perhaps it was more too.. than the knocks on his head that caused the Parkinson’s disease…

The science of neurology is so complex and still in relative infancy it seems.. as they have no idea still what structural differences cause my wife’s epilepsy or in many cases of autism spectrum disorder.. if there are any hard wired problems that cause some cases at all.. as i personally think environment is a factor of great variable particularly in the higher functioning segment of the spectrum.. but i as usual digress..;)

  6. Grace says:

I respect Muhammed Ali and the other sports heroes ~ Specially when Ali made that decision against the war ~ But it is my opinion that the current sports stars are overpaid and a lot of hype is made of their celebrity status ~ I don’t think anyone of them has meddle and said something about current wars ~ if they do then its the end of their bank notes ~

    • Yes.. truly most sports stars are players and rarely directors.. producers.. and actors of their own play.. do come along and go against the herd of political or traditional play.. as their lives are ones that do APPLY TO RULES..among the herd of those who live.. like sheep.. to get through the day of now.. till morrow…comes..again..

But is it an easy road.. not really i think.. no matter how large the bills are that come in.. and do sports heroes cognitively understand the importance of the roles they play for peace in life.. rarely i think so too…

But never the less.. what is.. is.. and certainly when folks work together instead of against each other for a common cause.. there can potentially be less havoc on the rest of the herd.. and of course conversely potentially more too.. depending on how the tide of purpose changes…lots of example in history do show that too…:)

The light and dark continue to mix.. and i always look to find the silver lining greater than darkness around me and do stay positive with faith and belief in that.. to too.. help it come true.. in what truly counts.. flesh and blood life.. and love..2..:)now…3…..

  7. http://www.wrongplanet.net/postx269489-75-0.html

And perhaps the greatest pitfall of this is that culture demands more specialization in skills to make the machine of culture run.

Often one spends what SEEMS A lifetime in college in A highly specialized field of training and never gets to use it in the real world, and truly while my actual college education per three degrees was little contribution to the living I earned, most importantly, I had a diverse background in many fields of study, to make the most important contribution to life, in simply being a balanced human being, understanding that art and science are both required for happiness in life.

And to truly sing life true, it’s extremely hard to do, without a balance of art and science in both mind and spirit of living life.

These are not the things, that school normally teaches, but one who seeks can most definitely still find balanced truth in life, even now if they never go to college, it’s all ON the Internet, for those who do not give up on finding truth in their life, for the best REAL LIFE POSSIBLE, IN EVERYDAY LIFE.

I have mixed feelings on Ali – he was courageous – but all those blows to the head did him in.

    • Yes.. that truly is sad that the price of his achievement is suffering in his later years now…
And true he was a fearless courageous man.. never afraid to stand up for what he believed in..:)no matter what anyone else said.. but yes.. still he was human.. and the end result of that is plain to see…
